The introductory course ended with a provocation: the state takes your money through inflation and calls it policy. But that raises a harder question — how much state is acceptable? Is a small government enough, or does the logic of liberty lead somewhere more radical?

Libertarians have been debating this for centuries, and their answers span a wide spectrum. On one end: a minimal state limited to courts, police, and defense. On the other: no state at all — just voluntary agreements, private property, and free markets handling everything, including law and security.

This course walks that spectrum step by step, from the philosophical bedrock of natural rights to the anarcho-capitalist vision where the market replaces the state entirely. You don’t have to agree with every stop along the way — but you should understand the arguments.
